The nostalgic smells and flavors that I experienced in my childhood are still fresh in my memory today. The aroma of the fireplace together with the unmistakable smellof rice, that my mother taught me never to forget, will always remain a part of my life. The seem ingly endless preparation of the broth, made with almost the entirety of my father ́s vegetable garden, accompanied by juicy meats, brought us together as a family every Sunday. The aroma of the Mediterranean, the best of its fish and shellfish in the rice, became a feast for everyone…
